The Adventure Called Life Day 269...saying goodbye...

Today we said goodbye to Scioto youth camp, and may lovely people. Ohio Christian University served with us this week, and we loved it! They were awesome, great hearts and great attitudes for the kids and Christ's service. We completely meshed with Cedarville Univeristy. They are a drama team, five beautiful people who were great to work with. We shared the stage with them, us playing music and they took care of sketches and skits. We loved it!

I am really sad to say goodbye to them, but I am also really excited to see what God is going to do through them this summer! Super awesome stuff I think...lol...we are now at Jake's Aunt's House and we are chilling and crashing for the night. I've got to wait up to do laundry. I'm going to call Zachariah now :)

The Adventure Called Life Day 261...toy story adventure continues...

and so the adventure continues for the Toy Story gang. I appreciated the movie very much, I like that they kept most of the cast together for this film. I was surprised at all the dark themes and suspenseful sequences. I am not sure how this will relate to "G" rated audiences. I caution parents for showing this to really young kids. I would even say that this should be a PG movie.

anyway, the best part about going to see this movie was that I saw it with some of my well spring team and people from Spring Arbor. A group of us met up and saw the film. I love doing that. Since I love the cinema and the theatre so much, I really enjoy sharing it with people. There was a time when I didn't like going to movies in groups, that I would just go alone. I think it was mostly because I didn't really have anyone to go with...now I do.

I am excited to see a couple more films this summer. The Last Air Bender looks good, so does "Inception". Both films intrigue me for different reasons...Zachariah is on his way right now to visit me and some people at Spring Arbor for a little bit. We head out for about six weeks tomorrow. Its a little nerve-wrecking to be gone that long from home and from those I love, but my team is amazing and God will see us through.

Tomorrow I'll be reporting from Lansing.

The Adventure Called Life Day 244...pack it up!...

pack it up! Let's get ready to HIT THE ROAD! oh my goodness...I don't think I've been this excited in a long time...

I woke up this morning, even with the constant sinus headache, I managed to smile and think, "tour is almost here!" I seriously have the best job ever. Its not even a job in my book, but an extreme blessing of a privilege! Seriously! Who gets paid to travel on the road with seven other talented, Jesus loving musician servants, show up to camps and say, "Hey, yeah, we're that band called Well Spring, but whatever you need, we're here to do it..." simply amazingly awesome right? I know! and I get to be a part of it! blows my mind...

Today I took a quick shopping trip to Brighton (I don't recommend it on Memorial Day, traffic is bonkers on Grand River) and managed to keep me and the car in one piece! First stop was JoAnn Fabrics to grab some crafty stuff for the road. I really enjoy knitting, and it keeps me from getting car sick, but still able to talk to those around me, unlike reading where its just you and the story world, ignoring the amazingness in the van...not good! After the creative-ness in me was satisfied, I drove across the street to Target...found some modest length shorts and a nice tank top for hot van rides...awesome luck if I don't say so myself!

So now I'm back. and its time to PACK IT UP! I'm trying to fit in a smaller suitcase this summer, only take what I know I'll need, and just a few emergency items. I'm also debating on whether to take my laptop, I probably will anyway, but it would be nice to not have to keep track of it. I do have this commitment of blogging everyday, but I could use Marc's to post up what I've written when I can...I'll have to think about it.

After I finish packing, I want to finish cleaning the house, and double check everything I'm bringing. Then I just want to have a relaxing evening at home with my family. I am going to miss them so much! I am leaving tomorrow morning, early, so I can visit my fantastic boyfriend Zachariah for the day. It will be fun, but it means that this is the last time I will see my family for a while!

well, I've got plenty to do, and not a whole lot of time to do it in! Here's to praying while I work!

The Adventure Called Life Day 207...on the road again...

here we go again! this afternoon Well Spring team 2 hits the road. We're headed out for a revival gig tonight. I believe our set starts at 7pm. We greatly appreciate your prayers :)

im excited. EEP! im a little sad though that i am missing Zachariah's sister Ariel's dance recital. I will have to visit, and then Ariel and i will have to choreograph a serious dance to a silly silly song and make everyone laugh really loud. i bet we could do a Go Fish song, or maybe a Satellites and Sirens tune. that would be so. much. fun.

anyway, i've got just a few minutes to get somethings together for tonight. its gonna ROCK! my team is absolutely amazing!  Jesus is so alive in us. Its amazing to watch each of them worship, even in practice. very cool. very encouraging and inspiring.

Lord,
we surrender. we empty ourselves of our own thoughts, agendas and desires. we want you. fill us up, send us out O Lord. use us for your Glory! we love you.
In Jesus' Name
Amen
