today i drove to South Lyon after River Tree and the lunch we were invited to. Andy's parents had us all over for steak and potatoes to thank us for our time and sacrifice for River Tree. I hope someday to repay them for all the work and the blessing they have been in my life.
Mom wasn't surprised. at all. turns out that she overheard me on the phone with dad. I'm really loud. BIG surprise. lol.
well the good news is that im done with my final video! YAY. also, I just have to draw up the storyboard and im completely done with VID 202. awesome. Chemistry is also done except for the final exam on thursday. I have a CMI 344 paper to write, but other than those few things, only organizing the choral library and packing stand in my way to get out of SAU for two weeks.
time to draw up a story board and get some work done on my CMI assignment. *sigh* almost done

The Adventure Called Life Day 171...monster...
so i drove my Dad's Tahoe today. and its a MONSTER :) so cool. I'M KING OF THE ROAD!!
really.
well, my turn signals have been acting up, and apparently my car is showing the routine signs of brake-wear, so my Dad, being the fine auto mechanic he is, had me drop my car off when mom and I went to Aunt Jan's for lunch. Then I got to drive HIS car. awesome. At first I was nervous, but after a couple of minutes, okay, it was more like thirty-seconds, no joke, i was like I WANT ONE :) the thing has like 200,000 miles plus on it, but because it has been babied and taken care of, its in impeccable condition. needless to say it drives like a dream.
anyway.
We were supposed to just pick up my car from my Dad on the way home, but since Mom was tired, I called to say that we were just going home and for him to just drive my car home. Well, he started explaining about this dial and that dial, then I realized that those dials DO NOT exist on my car, and I then it finally clicked. He was talking about HIS car, then one i was driving home. for some reason that was funny, and we laughed about it for like five minutes. He even said, "I'm a little worried, are you going to be okay," and through the giggles, "yes! bye!" and that was it. I sure hope I at least made him smile. I was being super silly. Basically I was laughing at myself and my spacyness. lol..
time to construct tacos for dinner tonight :) OLE!

The Adventure Called Life Day 151...oh! the weather outside is frightful...
i adore snow. i truly love how it glistens in the sunlight, and even under the stars in the moonlight. there is something about a perfectly smooth field of snow nestled in between some pines. i also think it aids my wild imagination...
days like today though bunch me right into group of the average Michigander who is fed up with the ucky white stuff. the wind is very bitter and the snow keeps drifting and drifting, and drifting some more! not to mention its STILL SNOWING. ugh. i need to go to the bank and get some groceries, but with the weather like this, i might have to postpone my trip until tomorrow. hopefully it will stop snowing in a little while. then i can go out :) well on that note, im taking a nap. i have a meeting with Ron in a little bit and class at 4.
